Spectacular Convention Thrills Franchise Owners

July 27, 2007

This year's Convention of the Americas welcomed Franchise Owners to three days of celebration, fun, recognition, and training in Orlando, Florida from July 19 to 21, 2007.

Wednesday, July 18, 2007

Convention activities actually began early Wednesday, when Presidential Diamond Franchise Owners' day began aboard the Miss Cape Canaveral for a day of high-adventure deep sea fishing. Those who preferred pampering over casting a line were treated to a day of ultimate relaxation and indulgence at the luxurious and exclusive Buena Vista Palace Spa.

The day was topped off with a delectable "Black Tie" dinner. Guests were delighted when their waiters turned out to be the popular The Three Waiters -- three highly talented and sought-after opera singers who added an element of fun, spontaneity, and surprise.

Don't miss next year's surprise exclusive gala reserved only for Presidential Diamonds -- there's always room for more!

Also on Wednesday, Unicity was invited to visit the Florida Children's Hospital. Due to hospital regulations, only a few Franchise Owners and Unicity staff members were allowed to tour the hospital and meet patients.

Convention attendees on Thursday afternoon were introduced to the new Bios Life Tools-Based Business Development Systems. This first Convention session was conducted and presented by some of the most successful Franchise Owners in North America. This candid and in-depth training lead attendees through the Bios Life Two-Step Customer Development System and the Bios Life Three-Step Franchise Development System and the newly created tools that make each step easy and effective.

Following the first Convention session, Unicity continued its proud tradition of offering Continuing Education classes for healthcare and medical professionals lead by Dr. Peter Verdegem, Unicity Chief Science Officer.

Thursday evening's festivities were held in the Peabody Orlando Hotel ballroom. Franchise Owners and guests were treated to music, dancing, food and drinks under the Orlando evening sky.

Friday, July 20, 2007

Friday morning began bright and early for the health conscious who worked out together for a New Day Cardio Exercise session.

Franchise Owners were warmly welcomed in grand style at the morning's general session. Convention attendees doubled up with laughter as Todd Smith, John Berta, and Glade Poulsen -- playing renowned broadcasters Howard Cosell, Frank Gifford, and "Dandy Don" Meredith -- competed against audience members in a rousing game of Stump the Legends.

In addition, attendees enthusiastically played Convention versions of Deal or No Deal and So You Want to be a Millionaire -- in fact, winners were rewarded a year's worth of Bios Life!

This session was followed by what has become some of the most popular attractions at Convention -- the special-interests luncheons. This year there were three luncheons which focused on the Latino market, women's health, wealth, and business, and a luncheon focused on financial strategies and health insurance for Franchise Owners.

After an afternoon of high-energy presentations, Convention attendees were invited to "Move to Mariachi" and "Groove to the Beat" as two distinct parties were held Friday evening -- thanks to the generosity of Glade Poulsen and Todd Smith.

Saturday, July 21, 2007

Saturday morning Convention attendees gathered to participate in Unicity's annual charity walk/run. Unicity's Make Life Better Foundation and Bios Life Franchise Owners helped raise funds for the Florida Children's Hospital by sponsoring and participating in a 5K walk/run, with 100% of the donations going to this very worthwhile cause.

Enthused and energized, attendees enjoyed the morning's general session. Over the past two days, Franchise Owners filled pages and pages of notes as they received instructions and ideas on how to build growing and profiting Franchises.

At noon, winners of the Pacesetter 10,000 enjoyed an elite lunch with Stewart Hughes, Unicity Chairman and CEO.

In the afternoon session Stewart Hughes and Unicity President Curt Hedges presented the Florida's Children's Hospital with a check for $40,000. In addition, members of the Franchise Advisory Board and Medical Advisory Board were recognized, followed by an emotional presentation of the Pontious Award to Burma Hicks. What's more, Franchise Owners who achieved the ranks of Sapphire, Ruby, and Diamond were recognized and congratulated.

Stewart Hughes concluded the 2007 Convention of the Americas entertained and galvanized the audience with a passionate and thought-provoking presentation.
